Now now--I meant "baiting" as in "goading and baiting!" Nothing to do with "bating" as in "bated breath"...or anything else, for that matter...

He's an idiot. He could have gotten that degree, part time, online, night school, however. He's just too lazy or fearful to do the hard work. He can't claim he can't afford it, he could have been taking one course a semester, gotten a little life/work experience, etc., and gotten that sheepskin long ago.

When I think of the kids--and adults-- in my family who worked full time, some holding down more than one job, who managed to drag their asses through school I don't have any "respect" for his seeming PRIDE in the fact that he's uneducated--he can make the tuition payments, he has no excuse.

A college degree, these days, is like a high school diploma was fifty or seventy five years ago. It's an important thing to have if you want to enter public life.

stuff and remember in some periods of history where the purge in some waves of change included "elitist" that were intellectuals and were perceived as a part of the problem

Years ago, I read the prediction that Goldwater would be the last -- that no major party would ever again nominate someone without a bachelor's. Perhaps Walker will prove that author wrong.

I would put Walker in the upper tier of Republican prospects in terms of his strength in November. Ted Cruz or Rand Paul would be an easier opponent.

some people will support ... although I've been happy to see in some on-line Packer groups that Wisconsin is more split than some people might think. Walker may have won re-election but he and Ryan are hated by many who have clued into their desire to end Social Security etc.
