(18,219 posts)the two who voted for this are both representing the biggest cities---Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. In a state full of the gas industry, I would have expected the supporters to be from a rural, big gas part of the state and not the more liberal areas. The world feels upside down right now.

(25,253 posts)I'm glad that he is no longer my Congressman as my area was redistricted and now Gutierrez now represents me.
The only reason Lipinski keeps winning is the 'ski' in his name. The area he represents has a lot of Poles and they vote almost unanimously for him.

(2,535 posts)Shela Jackson Lee is a very long time staunch Democrat and Houston is where the pipeline ends. Shela is a good long time Democrat but does have some flaws. These inner city Texas districts are the only ones that vote Democrat.

(3,795 posts)He's my Senator and he pisses me off all of the time.
On any big vote that I care deeply about (and that might have strong significance to the people of this country), Warner is a reliable vote for Wall Street and the multi-national corporations. Just about all of the time. Sounds like you might agree with me!
