Republican enthusiasm? (updated)

The 2008 votes are for select candidates so they don't add up to the total. The 2012 numbers are from CNN.

Connecticut

2008

John McCain 78,836
Mitt Romney 49,891
Total 151,604

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connecticut_Republican_primary,_2008

2012
Romney 39,691
Total 57,668 (90 percent)

About 65 percent less, or about 93,000

Delaware

2008
John McCain 22,628
Mitt Romney 16,344
Total 50,237

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delaware_Republican_primary,_2008

2012
Romney 16,143
total 28,591 (99 percent)

About 44 percent less, or about 22,000
Note: Romney got about 200 fewer votes than in 2008

New York

2008
John McCain 333,001
Mitt Romney 178,043
Total 670,078

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Republican_primary,_2008

2012
Romney 84,624
Total 137,870 (69 percent)

Needless to say, NY is going to be way off the 2008 total, likely by more than 55 percent.

Pennsylvania

Ron Paul 129,246
Total 815,364

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania_Republican_primary,_2008

2012
Romney 457,253
Santorum 145,142
Total 789,408 (99 percent)

About 10 percent less, or 25,000 fewer votes.

(Updated the PA numbers changed significantly)

Rhode Island

2008
John McCain 17,480
Mike Huckabee 5,847
Total 26,996

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhode_Island_Republican_primary,_2008

About 52 percent less, or about 12,000 fewer votes.

Looks like we'll pull big numbers in all of these in the fall as we should. We're going to get the President re-elected but more important we have to give him a solid democratic congress.

So yeah these are quite interesting! Thanks!
