Gawker's "Fox Mole" Raided

Gawker's Fox employee mole and brain surgeon Joe Muto had a big morning, with a small army from the D.A.'s office seizing his computer, phone and "notebooks." (Notebooks!) Muto says he is being accused of grand larceny.

I just got search warranted at 6:30am by a very polite crew from the DA's office. Took my iPhone, laptop, some old notebooks.

they are terrified that the "british thing" might take root here.. the start of Rupert's empire in decline.. newscorp's time has come and gone.. we are watching the slow death of an institution..

Rupert Murdoch will be put on shelf of history alongside William Randolph Hearst, along with the a historical note for the damage he caused..

gawker is one of a group of online "magazines" for lack of a better term

they seems rather lefty to me and i look at them on a fairly regular basis.

gawker is sort of the newsy gossipy mag

jezibel is aimed more that the female set--but i read it too...

io9 is sort of syfy stuff

they have maybe 3 or so more in the family but i read the ones i listed most.

the gawker mole at fox is that gawker had an employee at fox who would pass on tidbits
from the network--stuff that did not come out of the pr dept.

Really hard to believe a mole would blow his cover for it. Mitt was on his best behavior and the reporter was feeding him questions he could respond to.

Mitt stays at less expensive hotels, Mitt has one horse, Mitt is concerned about Ann working so hard . . . crap like that.

I think it is a set up, to make the "real, un-posed" Mitt look good.
