Mike Huckabee has become the church lady

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has accused President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle of parenting by double-standard, in an interview published Tuesday, saying they shelter their daughters from some things but allow them to listen to the music of Beyoncé.

While promoting his new book, Huckabee told People magazine, "I don't understand how on one hand they can be such doting parents and so careful about the intake of everything — how much broccoli they eat and where they go to school ... and yet they don't see anything that might not be suitable" in the lyrics and a Beyoncé choreography "best left for the privacy of her bedroom."

Huckabee described the Grammy Award-winning Beyoncé in his book as "mental poison." .................(more)

I remember meetings to try to figure out how to talk to young people about this new 'music'. ha ha Turned out the young people talked to the older folk about the new music and then everyone liked it.

free license on this hate speech. AND, bonus in America only, the right to lie, manufacture lies and broadcast them all freely, with bigoted intent and malice even.

But folks will defend their right to say this shit and have it broadcast by the media nationally to the death, am I right?

Is Huckabee an example of what true, blue Christians are all like?

Why are Christians not condemning the hate speech spewing from folks calling themselves Christians and sullying the entire religion and most of its varied sects?

America has to import so many workers because] for the last 35 years we have aborted more than a million people who would have been in our workforce.” – Mike Huckabee

Huckabee Hides His Full Gospel?

Is Mike Huckabee the presidential candidate shunning Mike Huckabee the preacher? Before entering politics, he was a pastor at two Baptist churches. Now his campaign tells Mother Jones it won't make his sermons available to the media and the public.

"Only a small sampling of Huckabee's early speeches are publicly available. While the pastor at Beech Street, Huckabee became president of the Arkansas Baptist State Convention. (At 34, he was the youngest person to ever preside over the 490,000-person group.) He held the office from 1989 to 1991. Several of his sermonlike speeches were featured in the convention's publications. In a 1990 speech to his fellow state Baptists, Huckabee urged the audience to hold to what he called "The 10 Commendations," including "Thou shalt love like a family" and "Thou shalt be found faithful." Huckabee also said, "It doesn't embarrass me one bit to let you know that I believe Adam and Eve"

During a meeting with Republican National Committee members today, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee made some really stupid comments about women.

Huckabee, who served two full terms as Arkansas governor, insinuated that women who use birth control "cannot control their libidos." He also claimed, "Democrats want to insult the women of America by making them believe that they are helpless without Uncle Sugar coming in and providing for them a prescription."

Huckabee, who ran for president in 2008 and is seen by some Republicans as a viable candidate for 2016, also disputed that the GOP is waging a "war on women," suggesting instead that his party fights a "war for women."

Asked about the comments, White House spokesperson Jay Carney said, "it sounds offensive to me, and to women."

The sight of a strong, successful, black couple secure in their sexuality really seems to drive him up a wall.

Good.

Do you have to reject evolution to be a true Christian, have they all figured that out yet?

Surely not her!

(Frankly, I'd prefer that they'd learn Glenn Gould, but that's my bias. I find Pop culture to be an oxymoron. Especially Beyoncé. But Huckabee is trying to pull the old Hucklebuck here, in other words, a scam.)

But he probably didn't, but I do enjoy tweeting toward idiots like Huck when they do something like this because let's face it, he's not really worried about the Obama girls - this is his way of saying the Obamas are bad parents. So on his twitter and facebook I said things like

Huck was concerned about Obama daughters listening habits because he knows if he had just found out what his son was listening to back in the day, he wouldn't have killed those dogs.

Or that dude he pardoned who went on a rape/kill spree.

Huck should introduce them to songs like Wang Dang Sweet Poontang sung by his good buddy and confirmed pedophile, Ted Nugent.

He probably never saw them (unlike minor-league conservative tool Mychal Massie who banned me from his FB and Twitter), but they pissed off some conservatives and got me a few followers.
