Any Gay or Black or Poor or Latino or WOMEN voters sitting out the election

because you are angry at Dems?

Just wondering if people who fit into "minority" categories, such as those listed and others, feel comfortable enough to risk your future by NOT voting for lets say Hillary Clinton thus allowing a Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee to be president?

Or, is it more likely that people who have the MOST to lose are the LEAST likely to risk a republican government?

people can vote for. They don't want a war hawk, or a Wall St insider.

Stop twisting what voters are asking for, you are only contributing to the reasons WHY people are so angry at their party.

LISTEN to the VOTERs, that is who the party is supposed to represent, and there will be no problem getting people to vote.

But your snide attack on voters is part of the REASON for the dissatisfaction of voters.

Voters are being very fair to the Dem Party Leadership right now. They are telling them what they do not want.

All the party has to do is listen to the voters rather than their Wall ST/MIC funders and no one has to worry.

I am talking about an effort by the right to get Democrats to NOT vote, it plays out right here on DU whether you can admit it or not.

And I am attempting to point that out, and will continue to do so

has to say about ANYTHING?? If you are worried about THAT, you should be talking to our 'leaders' who do seem to care more about upsetting Republicans than about upsetting their own base, see Obama 'I am willing to go against my own party on this'.

I don't know a single Dem voter who is even aware of what Republicans are saying.

Why do YOU care about them? This is about OUR PARTY LEADERSHIP refusing to listen to the voters regarding who runs for elected office.

They are losing badly because of that. NOT because of Republicans.

even though i have "never" been excited about any DEM i have voted for because they are always way to the right of me. I often wonder if i am a fool for doing this but i keep doing it.

you would have to be a fool to deny DEMS are better on the social issues (I am gay) too bad they suck damn near as bad as GOP on foreign policy and favoring the 1 % on shitty trade deals and both parties seem hellbent on destroying public education.

right now that represents minorities, that includes women, rather than go for the one who represents Wall St and forever WAR which are ANTI minorities.

Has Hillary announced yet? As far as I know there is no candidate. So why are you pretending there is?

Voters are doing their duty, they are expressing to those who are paid by them, what their wishes are.

Now all the party has to do is LISTEN TO THE VOTERS!

Is that a difficult concept? VOTERS are who they REPRESENT. NOT Wall St, NOT the War Machine!

There are a number of DUers who say they will not vote for Hillary under any circumstance.

Many of the folks saying this are likely white. Many are male. This is a demographic that will be least hurt by a potential Republican presidency.

Minorities, on the other hand, are much more vulnerable to Republican control of the government...the Republican party is overwhelmingly white and pretty much only looks out for white people.

So many of the folks on DU saying they won't vote for Hillary don't have much at stake and will be least hurt by Republican (white party) take over of the government.

So it's easier for them to oppose Hillary.
