Round two: Governor Rick Snyder vs. Michigan Right to Life.

Last year Gov. Rick Snyder, in a rare moment of non-relentless positive action, actually got upset with Michigan Right to Life. The entrenched anti-abortion lobby group was tossing its weight around in the legislature as it convinced lawmakers to insert some language into the higher education budget bill.

After the voters of Michigan gave the green light to conduct embryonic stem cell research, the University of Michigan got into the assignment full steam ahead.

The governor got wind of the move and sent the clear signal, via his legal-eagles, that the front office considered the mandate to be illegal.

Never one to take no for an answer, RTL lobbyist Eddie Rivet is back at it again. And he's getting another push back from the governor, who sent out his spokesperson to take on the RTL lobby one more time.
