really like to pull the ladder up after they climbed it.

They can't comprehend the fact that they actually needed help at one time. If you ask them, they did it all on their own.

So is that old myth about affirmative action placing unqualified minorities into positions they wouldn't have achieved based on merit actually true??

if this guy is an idiot now, he obviously was an idiot before starting his academic career and shouldn't have got into med school (unless AA got him in). Or it could be he is actually smart and earned his way into med school, in which case AA wasnt necessary in his case, and we should give full consideration to his "smart advice" of how the welfare state is enslaving african americans.

Or maybe he was smart a long time ago, and got into med school of his own merit (meaning no need for AA policies), but some time between then and now he became less smart (alien abduction/pod people scenario is likely), and now we need to NOT listen to him, and possibly murder him before he signals the mother ship to invade earth.

in the world that other neurosurgeon's have refused to touch (they even made a documentary on him decades ago), is an idiot. He's playing the Republicans for idiots and for CASH.

He understands the concept of being a big fish in a little pond as opposed to being just one of the fish in an otherwise crowded pond. What the man lacks is ethics through his greed, and he disrespects the struggles of his fellow Black men and women by siding with a Party that's embraced KKK and other assorted White Supremacists and who are focused on making second or third class citizens of ALL minorities - including him. He knows it. We know it. But he hopes to make hundreds of millions before that time.

I believe you've missed the message of the graphic. Perhaps you need to look at it again and take the time to find out what that message is conveying.

That's how I see it. There are a few black Republicans who are beloved by the party (at least up to a point), because they espouse RW talking points. I reckon it helps to make your way in the world by allowing the ruling class to co-opt you.

Or, you know, he could just be a good ole Uncle Tom. Except I believe that term is not allowed any more. At any rate, I doubt it's difficult for him at all. Isn't it always "different" when it's you?

a "good negro" or an Uncle Tom is outright racist.

Carson is just another unethical, greedy American elite who will sell his soul for even more money than he's already earned. That's what this is about. Money - and the lack of ethics in order to get it. He's being well-paid to act like an idiot while anyone who knows this man, knows he's a brilliant and famous pediatric neurosurgeon who's taken lost-cause cases other surgeons were too afraid to take, and he has helped many hopeless patients and their families.

This is an incredibly intelligent man...to the point of narcissism. He knows it pays much better to be a big fish in a small pond, and he's taking advantage of it.
