Fox’s Todd Starnes to Michael Moore: Jesus Would Love American Sniper

by Matt Wilstein | 12:41 pm, January 26th, 2015

This weekend, Michael Moore continued his criticism of American snipers — if not necessarily American Sniper — by suggesting that Jesus would not approve of shooting “savages” in the back. The tweets drew the attention of Fox News’ Todd Starnes, who decided to respond in his “American Dispatch” online video series.

“Well, I’m not theologian,” Starnes began, “but I suspect Jesus would tell that God-fearing, red-blooded American sniper, ‘Well done, thou good and faithful servant for dispatching another Godless jihadist to the lake of fire.’”

Starnes lamented the loss of a time in which Hollywood and Democrats “stood in solidarity” with the U.S. military, saying, “Those days are long gone and our sweet land of liberty has been soiled by the stinking stench of Michael Moore and Howard Dean and their liberal minions.”

Please, Todd, tell us how you really feel.

Any time I look at Todd Starnes, I can't help but laugh my ass off.

He looks like a typical conservative dipshit.

He was bent on upsetting the "status quo" of the time according to the tales we tell. If that was the case, there's a high probability that ole JC would have been on the receiving end of Mr. Kyle's work...and I'm not sure there's anything to love about that.

That's from the passage from the Gospel of Matthew that this doofus is warping.

Funny how conservative Bibles don't seem to have verses like this.

I don't think there's a single verse in the Bible where Jesus instructed his disciples to shoot first and ask questions later.
