a couple dusting but nothing other than that. Mind you this is where we have most of our worst winter weather starting about now, late January, February and March.,
Speaking of snowblowers I guess I've never seen one out in the real world. I'm happy that I haven't had to get up close and intimate with one so far in life though

To answer your question, here its been a rather uneventful one so far, about average, maybe a tad colder but dryer

Normally it rests between the vehicles in the garage by November.

But the weather guessers pegged it right so far (said slightly below normal temps and snowfall).

But we'll see. There is the possibility of a fall this weekend, and February can be a PITA as well.

. . .from a local weather guy that this winter was going to be worse than last year, which i found very hard to believe, given it was our 3rd coldest ever and 4th snowiest ever, in the same year!

Now that we're through 8 weeks of the winter season i told my wife to never believe that guy again.

But given teh crap they take when wrong, I decide that job was NOT for me.

It's a job only for thick-skinned people!

AS someone interested in chaos theory, however, I am fascinated by emerging techniques to improve long range accuracies.

We have only had 4 snowfalls that required cleaning. Two of them were less than an inch and was so light and fluffy that it was faster to use a snow shovel and i didn't risk a heart attack.

More pushing the snow than lifting it.

The two snowfalls i need the snowblower for were substantial but not "blizzardy". Probabloy around 4 inches.

or it seems that way.

I wish someone would invent a floodblower for when the summer flooding gets here

That's very unusual here in St. Paul. I could have done without it both times, too, if I had wanted to hand-shovel. My fingers are still crossed that we won't get mega storms in February and March, though.

Right now, most of my lawn is snow-free.
