So, Michael Brown. Guilty of something, right? I mean the shooting was valid, right?

I mean the cop says that the kid made a motion that was dangerous so he put two in his head and killed him.

Are we all good with that?

I mean the cop said it, do any of us have ANY reason NOT to believe him?

I wont bring up Garner, we can do that separately.

I just want to get the "pulse" of the DEMOCRATIC community...I guess I wont say "liberal community" because if I have learned one thing here, very painfully, these are not always the same thing.

I cant do a poll so this will have to suffice.

Speak for yourself. There were a gazillion Brown threads at the time, overwhelmingly in his favor. arcane1 Jan 2015 #1

I am seeing people defending cops on this board ALL the time, so I figured I would just ask people again.

Speak for myself?

I don't remember any DUers saying an indictment for manslaughter would have been inappropriate, though several have said they can understand why the GJ did what they did since McCollough seems to have deliberately torpedoed the presentation.

And the sky is down, the world is flat, the leaves grow trees and all is right with the world.

On edit, I will say that the majority of DU does have a huge problem with this. .even those that are skeptical wanted a trial

Guilty has a legal meaning, one which is irrelevant to the laws governing police use of force.
