And it seems to me that they have two advantages over the Scots with regard to going knickerless: Saudi Arabia is a lot warmer than Scotland, so one's parts would not be susceptible to shrinkage or frostbite; and long robes are less susceptible than kilts to inadvertent flashing in windy conditions.
