From NECN.com. Swiss company to provide names for your new baby for $32,000.

I tried to find a link to provide proof of I just saw and heard this on my local news. Does not show on their site.
The gist:

A Swiss( I think) company will provide you with names for your new baby for the paltry sum of $32,000.
This makes me sick. If this is true, it is another sad reflection on the state of affairs. Children starve, people lose everything...please tell me no-one will avail themselves of this service!
Read a book, check the telephone directory, buy a book, go to the library. $32,000? Sick!!!

If NECN posts something that I can use for a link, I will post it. Meantime, please support your local food pantry.

Just found this link via Google:

It may be the first baby with the name. If it's a good name, it won't be unique. LiberalAndProud Jan 2015 #2

Since our options for earning an honest living are slimming, I'm not opposed to schemes aimed at skimming some of the cream off the top.
