I would like the Keystone XL to be built, but I absolutely oppose Congress's forcing it

Just getting my own position out there.

I think the XL pipeline shortcut is a safer option than the longer pipelines we currently have. That's just me.

What's more important is that Congress has absolutely no place inserting itself into the review process by EPA and State.

No matter how you feel about the XL extension/shortcut, Congress absolutely should not be forcing this decision.

Oh that's right--- Environmental laws---Indigenous lands, etc.

If Canada wants a pipeline---let them build it in their own country.
