Romney Camp: Obama Using Bin Laden To ‘Divide Us’

Romney Camp: Obama Using Bin Laden To ‘Divide Us’

The Obama campaign went up with a video on the Osama Bin Laden raid on Friday in which they strongly suggested that Mitt Romney would not have made the same call, noting quotes from 2007 and 2008 in which he minimized the importance of catching the terrorist leader and chided then-candidate Obama for suggesting America send troops into Pakistan if necessary to catch him. Now Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul is pushing back, accusing the campaign of trying to “divide” Americans and change the subject from the economy.

“The killing of Osama bin Laden was a momentous day for all Americans and the world, and Governor Romney congratulated the military, our intelligence agencies, and the President,” Saul said in a statement. “It’s now sad to see the Obama campaign seek to use an event that unified our country to once again divide us, in order to try to distract voters’ attention from the failures of his administration. With 23 million Americans struggling for work, our national debt soaring, and household budgets being squeezed like never before, Mitt Romney is focused on strengthening America at home and abroad.”

so it's 99% pro getting Bin Laden to the 1% pro not getting Bin Laden until a Republican is president. So you can see how divided America is on this issue. Why does Obama keep dividing us. DAMN YOU OBAMA!!!

Good to know.

And is Mitt's campaign saying that you can't talk about killing Osama and focus on the economy at the same time? Evidently Mitt is not a multitasker.

King Flip Flop is a single-tasker. Almost 100% of his time is taken up with firing people and shoveling money from the middle class into the pockets of the 0.01%.

the RMoney campaign even at this early stage. I love that the Democrats are already out hitting them hard with the facts and using RMoney's own words against him.

If they are screaming now, just wait until the fall, it's not gonna be pretty for the RMoney crowd and I am SO looking forward to it.

What kind of cheese do you want to go with your w(h)ine??

GWB: "I honestly don't know where he is. I don't think about him (the man who killed thousands of our citizens in violent vicious attacks) much..."

Mittens: "I don't think it's worth moving heaven and earth and spending billions of dollars to go after one man..." (the man who killed thousands of our citizens in violent vicious attacks)

BHO: "We will crush al-Qaeda, we will kill bin Laden, and those who follow him."

Which one of these men is the REAL leader in the war on terrorism?

They tested it very thoroughly back in... I want to say the late forties? Anyway, the thrust is that you always push the idea that we live in this peaceful, happy society, where normal people are all just happy neighbors with different sized houses. Then you cast any left-wing activist as a troublemaker who is just bitter at their core, with a desire to ruin our wonderful harmony.

It seems really awkward and goofy when applied to this binLaden subject, but then, Romney isn't exactly smooth.

Al Queda fostered by the Reagan administration is our friend against the evil Russian Bear. Mittens: completely and utterly out of touch.

Mitt Romney, March 27, 2012:

"This is without question our number one geopolitical foe; they fight for every cause for the world's worst actors."

By the way, did anyone see Andrea Mitchell's interview of Haley Barbour this morning on MSNBC? Barbour was defending Romney's foreign policy and he started blasting Elie Weisel, the holocaust hero and man of peace, for his support of Obama. Mitchell absolutely bristled. Barbour I think made an enemy today.

Op ed in this Sunday's paper by the resident conservative writer was about that.

What they really mean is, "Obama won't let us take him down." "Obama promised unity, instead the country is more divided than ever", yada yada. Yeah, because you guys are fucking dicks.

They're digging for material. When the debate occurs, which it most certainly will, the facts of how the NHP (New Hope Party) took serious and productive steps to fix the problems that the GOP (Government of Pigs) created.
