GOP Rep. Schock's Spox: White House 'Should Build A Mosque' For Obama

By CATHERINE THOMPSON Published FEBRUARY 5, 2015, 1:50 PM EST

Rep. Aaron Schock's (R-IL) spokesman once said that a mosque should be built on the White House grounds to accommodate President Barack Obama, Buzzfeed reported Thursday.

Buzzfeed obtained more alleged posts from the Facebook page of Benjamin Cole, Schock's communications director, after ThinkProgress reported earlier in the day that Cole had written posts comparing two black people to zoo animals.

Cole wrote that he "thinks they should build a mosque on White House grounds" in a post dated October 2010, according to Buzzfeed.

When a commenter said that he failed to understand outrage about a proposed mosque at the World Trade Center site, Cole replied "I wasn't talking about the Ground Zero mosque, I just think it would be nice for the President to have his own house of worship, since he's not been able to find one suitable in DC since 2004 when he moved here."

the redacted 28 pages that would shut the 'Pubs up.

Having said that, they managed to brush off the CIA Torture report without too much hassle.

He openly hangs out at gay bars. His instagram is full of other guys telling him how hot he is.

But as long as he votes against gays and for other right wing crap the wingnuts in his district will look the other way .

This man doesn't deserve to be pissed on if he were on fire.
He's a hypocrite of the FIRST order.
I don't care whom he represents. They are despicable for voting for a self-aggrandizing, lying, hypocrite.

I'm to the age now where I can lean on my 40 years of being out to clobber little turds like this one.

But is must be their reality if they can publicly air such vile remarks with no fear of recriminations.

I think his attempts to divert the Washpo. reporter from seeing the office, and then trying to force the reporter to give him the camera/images - set in motion mocking for his boss - and serious scrutiny of him/his behavior.

Sure he will resurect his career in some rightwing operative shop. Doubt he learns any lessons and instead will gripe forever to anyone who will listen about the "lamestream media."

and a former preacher!

Glad he resigned but I get the feeling he's still a vital weft in the inglorious tapestry that is the republican party machine.
