whether for children or other family members people who take time out of the work place to care for someone need to get some kind of credit for those years.
this would lift many women out of poverty.
it's only right. it is our values.

I have now retired, another hard-working Boomer who paid in with no complaints all these years. Got a couple small pensions, too, and thank goodness, no debt, and some savings. I know the Kochs want the little I have, but thanks to Bernie Sanders, I feel protected.

Anyone out there to take his place? Elizabeth, of course, but the list is limited. We need more.

When my father died. My mother was widowed at 46 and the money for her three children was vital.

I am now 65 and have worked for 40+ years. I contributed to SS for all that time. Just who do they think should get that money but the people who have been contributing?
