I just watched this..Inherit the Wind.

Seems like our county is reverting back to this kind of thinking, or perhaps its always been there. Great movie but really, some of these characters don't seem too different than those around today. This movie you can watch for free if you haven't seen it.

and one I greatly recommend along with "To Kill A Mockingbird", which just had it's 50th Anniversary. I don't know if we are reverting to this kind of thinking or that it just really never went away, but both films give one pause. Another I would suggest is called "Sergeant Rutledge" directed by John Ford, from 1960.

I love Spencer Tracy. Wonderful movie, also a wonderful play.

Wait. You can watch the whole thing online????

The entire movie.

The people in this town are pretty much as extreme as some people are today in their religious fervor.

Ironically Tony Randall played Hornbeck when he first appeared in this play many many years ago.
