Tide take dioxane out of your recipe!

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Researchers have found a chemical found in Tide laundry detergent is linked to cancer. Tests found the cancer-causing chemical dioxane in trace amounts. According to the Environmental Protection Agency dioxane may cause cancer in lab rats.

Environmental and health advocacy groups have asked Tide's maker, Procter and Gamble, to change the formula.

A Procter and Gamble toxicologist says the amount of the chemical in Tide is well below the safety risk level.
