Boy - We're Really Setting A Good Example For Our Children......

The latest is the rescinding of the title for the Chicago little league team that brought in good baseball player from outside their area. This was done by the adults that managed the team

We got the Brian Williams embellishments. We got the deflategate and spying issues in football. We got athletes taking performance enhanced drugs to make them stars. We have basketball players, football players mistreating women We got Fox News that is a 24/7 charade full of lies and misrepresentations. We got politicians gaming the system (Schock), others lying to their constituents, etc.

What kind of messages are we sending our children. I'm sure that there are countless other examples of what are children are exposed to on a day to day basis that shows that the way to get ahead is to cheat and lie.

If you're a shit off the court but you can throw a ball, no problem. If you lie to your constituents, that's just politics. We are spiraling down to the lowest common denominator & I think the media & the Internet are big factors. The media likes to highlight bad behavior for ratings & the Internet allows any dumb shit to say whatever they want to a bigger audience than they would have had before.

Kudos to those who have raised decent human beings in this culture. I can't imagine the hard work it must take.

It's like saying: Worried someone may harm you in the future? Go kill them today.

Anyone else think that sends a very bad message?
