How the GOP could eliminate unions

It would be very simple. Just tell us that we don't need unions because workers will receive those same protections under the law. Our wages, benefits, and working conditions will be guaranteed, as they should be, as citizens, and the backbone of society.

If they ever stop opposing working people, and show us the respect we have earned, the unions will be doomed.

37% of public sector employees are union members, so unions are mostly a public sector phenomenon, and that varies markedly from state to state.

unions would disappear, because government can be trusted to stand for the worker against powerful and wealthy interests.

Even after that happens, we're going to need someone on our side. Leaving our rights solely in the hands of people with a history of selling out to management isn't a desirable end goal, in my opinion.
