A new way to get cheap labor

Yah, tighten up that Southern border and your labor force dries up. So what do you do? Lay off 400 regular employees and replace them with H-1B foreign "guest" workers. And to make it more bitter, have the regular employees train them first before they are put out on the streets.

"SCE (Southern California Edison) ....are part of a growing trend of companies that use H-1B visas to bring in foreign workers for jobs that could be filled by Americans.

“You come in on the H-1B visa program for the sole purpose of taking a job,”(Sen. Jeff) Sessions(R-Al) said in a speech on the Senate floor last week. “They come solely for a limited period of time to take a job, and they work for less pay too often"

Seeing that it solves that problem with illegal Mexicans taking America jobs and having the stamp of legality behind it:

"many in Congress continue to call for an increase to H-1B visas. Last month, a bipartisan group of Senators, including Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Chris Coons (D-Del.), Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), and Dean Heller (R-Nev.) introduced legislation, S.153, that could increase the H-1B cap from 65,000 to as high as 195,000 per year

BINGO - we got our cheap labor force back and they got visas to make it all shiny and legal.

Companies have to pay SS taxes and medicare taxes on the american workers, do they have to pay for the H-1B workers? So are the H-1B's draining SS & medicare too?

Or so Clinton and Obama tell us, luckily, those untrainable unskilled Americans that would be replaced if that premise were false are skilled enough to train their foreign replacements even tho they are themselves too unskilled to keep doing those jobs they are TRAINING others to do.

It makes sense from a third way point of view, all one need do is ignore reality and repeat "there are no Americans skilled enough to do those jobs that they are already doing successfully
