Why is Chris Matthews is beating the Wardrum?

He's frothing at the bit and ready to go to war with various groups... he's mentioned Sunnis, ICIS, Al Qaeda, and his guest lineup is right in sync, chanting the tired old theme that somehow, some way, the US is responsible for stopping all the troubles in the ME.

If this is coming from MSNBC -- I checked -- not Fauxnews, are we heading into another war?

I was never for this war! I was never for the Iraq war in 2003, either! I don't know why people keep trying to turn me into a hawk. I never said anything to support any war!

It truly is a different world today and there are far too many terrorist groups trying to take advantage of the chaos caused by hemispheric merges, i.e. change.

I don't watch much of him but he seemed shook by the murder of Kayla Mueller and the immolation of the Jordanian pilot.

ISIS needs to be liquidated. However, it is a job for those in the region.

It will just be a matter of how many, and exactly where. There is no wisdom in the talking head crowd, and the American people will be gripped by today's "DO SOMETHING!!" media hysteria. Of course, when American troops start dying in numbers again, they'll roll the other way, screaming, "GET US OUT!!!" And I say that as someone who supports what we're doing now.

I don't understand why seemingly intelligent people are so willing to give into fear and queue up behind their favorite cult du jour in demanding our country launch yet another Crusade.

Why do they avoid asking religious questions of the religion driven GOP one may wonder?

As long as MSNBC is owned by neo-conservative liberals, being the network of the neo-conservative liberals is what they will do, they are but one notch above CNN. 3 hours of Morning Joe crap gives them away.

Truth is there is no liberal media outside the social media, explaining Obama's preference for the future of media, the emerging media.

Us.

Nothing personal to anyone our military kills. Nothing personal to the military families about to lose a loved one. It's just business.

Oh, and religion. Our national religion, which is the High Church of Redemptive Violence. Yes, the sacraments our national church bestowed on the world from 2002 to the present have spawned more and better terrorists, but that's more of a feature than a bug. We will continue to bless the world with more violence, cheered on by the major media and other profit centers of the High Church of Redemptive Violence.

There will be plenty of time for Matthews to recant again, but that will be for later.
