N.J. says it, nation, are 'ready for Hillary' in 2016: poll

TRENTON —"Ready for Hillary" isn't just a campaign slogan a new Rutgers-Eagleton poll says, it also reflects broad voter sentiment within the Garden State, with the former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton easily beating Gov. Chris Christie in a 2016 match-up.

Were the election held today, Clinton would defeat Christie 58 percent to 35 percent. That's almost ten points greater than the lead she enjoyed in December, when she was predicted to win 49 percent to 39 percent in a Christie face-off.

The new poll found she'd also defeat any leading GOP governors with 2016 aspirations by similarly strong margins, besting former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush by 58 percent to 32 percent, and current Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, 60 percent to 29 percent.

Then it lacks perspective -- a head-to-head poll without enough heads.

"Get the beyond me, polls! Unclean! UNCLEAN!!!"
