The former GOV of VA got 1 year prison (free pending appeal)

for a "recommended" sentence of 10-12 years for corruption and accepting bribes, and his wife was just sentenced to the "draconian" sentence of 1 year, plus 1 day for the same thing (also free pending appeal).

Meanwhile, some poor sap who shoplifts $50 worth of groceries from Walmart would get hammered.

Yeah, we really have a fair "Justice" system in this country.

Hard Time is strictly for the "little people".

Wasn't it Dylan who sang; "steal a little and they throw you in jail, steal a lot and they make you king"?

And Blagojevich got 12 years and hadn't received a dime. Frankly, as much as I hate what he did, I thought that was unfair

Meanwhile, while he was in office, he wanted to have the state shove a vaginal probe up a woman's uterus before she could exercise her lawful right to an abortion.
