I not only have Clinton fatigue

But I am extremely tired over the constant assessment of who will or won't be our nominee. Who will or won't be the Republican nominee.

It's too late for this election cycle, but I think that after November 8, 2016, there be an absolute moratorium here on speculation as to future candidates for either party, until, say, early 2019.

I know. I can choose not to click on such threads, but more to the point they are probably squeezing out useful topics of conversation that might otherwise occur here.

I hope media campaigns cost republicans billions and then Mrs. Clinton doesn't run after all.

I have several on mine- Kardashian, Palin and a few others. I may add Hillary to my list until she declares one way or another.

the media would vastly prefer there to be a genuinely competitive primary season, on both sides.

And yeah, I really do think far too much energy is spent speculating on the next candidate, starting immediately after election day. One huge problem is that it's basing the next candidate on the circumstances that prevailed in the previous election. Our version of fighting the last war.
