A collection of very cool old photos of New York, from the NYC archives;

A two-horse team street cleaner, with sprayer, squeegee, and roller at rear.

Shadows are cast beneath the Brooklyn Bridge, seen from a stable roof, on May 6, 1918.

28th Street Looking east from Second Avenue, on April 4, 1931.

Google Street View of the same street today;

Ferry Building. The street situation was so surrealistically chaotic. Both pedestrians and drivers behaved like crazed daredevils. (There must have been a lot of accidents...)

Thanks for sharing!

They start with the 1920 through the 40's . Then there's, Remembering Chicago again.

But my favorite is, 'Remembering Chicago again: The Boomer years'...

I love it. It brings me back to my childhood (when my mother and dad were still here).
