Rand Paul: 'It's A Mistake To Question' Obama's Love Of America

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said on Friday "it's a mistake" to question whether President Obama loves America, CNN reported. Paul’s comments to radio station WAVE came just hours after an adviser told TPM that the potential 2016 candidate had no comment on the issue.

In the interview with WAVE, Paul criticized former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) for doubting the President's love of country. "I think it's a mistake to question people's motives," Paul said. "It's one thing to disagree on policy."

"I try not to question the president's motives as being a good American or a bad American," Paul continued. "I've challenged his policies. I've disagreed with him completely on the war in Libya. I blame him and Hillary (Clinton) for something that made us less safe because of the war in Libya. But I don't question whether or not he was well-intentioned."

That's why he's probably the one we should fear the most...he may not be as scary as all the other wannabes....

I was thinking that of all these repuke assholes, Rand Paul is the most sane in several important ways...he hasn't pulled a Giuliani or a Huckabee, or a Walker or a Christie.

Who knows, Rand may be the "last one standing" in the repuke field for the prez nomination in 2016...I get the feeling he is waiting to thin the herd...so to speak...

The funny thing about Rand, (a side from the normal funny things like his name, his hair, his doctor's degree, his love of gattica, and many other normal crazy Rand things), he is too sane for the right wing crazies, and too crazy for the general public, um on the left he his just mocked for his craziness, that he will never win over enough people that don't think he is crazy. Crazy ain't it?
