For the record, three days ago he was at just 31% of his $96K "goal"...today he's inched up by a WHOPPING 5%...which PROBABLY explains the "kinder, gentler" tone of today's fatwa. He knows that slapping his minions on teh ass doesn't speed up donations.

This FReepathon thread is for FReepers who believe in and support our pro-life, pro-family, pro-limited government conservative causes, enjoy reading and participating on FR, think it's a worthwhile endeavor and would like to help us keep it going.
I retired the previous thread as it was being used by posters who obviously do not agree with our purposes here and or no longer enjoy participating on FR or no longer believe it is worthwhile. Hopefully, they'll respect us enough to stay off this thread. If they no longer enjoy FR, no longer respect us, etc, then perhaps they should consider leaving. I'm certainly not asking them to donate, but I do expect them not to be disruptive to our purposes here.
We are the resistance!! And have been since inception in 1996. We are traditional pro-life, small government, strong defense American conservatives and will accept nothing less. We defend our God, defend our Liberty, defend our constitution and defend our founding principles.
If you believe in resisting the usurpers, fighting tyranny and restoring Liberty as I do, then please keep the donations and checks coming in. And turn out in November and vote your conscience. Vote straight conservative. We need tea party conservatives voted into as many local state and federal offices as humanly possible. The Republic you save may be your own!!

And for entertainment purposes, of course...

(30,885 posts)As I've said elsewhere, I post them for a). entertainment and b). in the spirit of "know what the other side is thinking at all times."
And I don't apologize for that, but I can sort of get behind "don't send him traffic." The majority of people here know how to find something on his site if they want to, and since I post the thread title, it's there if they want it. But "no F.R. links" is deliberate on my part...I won't post them.

(24,780 posts)their hosting offers. More traffic helps gum it up. If RimJob is paying per gig. It costs him more money. So I say give them as many hits as we can.

(30,885 posts)...and I'm already dealing with a full ration of pissing and moaning about other things.
It's the "WHY do you post that, WHY do you send people to his site, WHY WHY WHY..."
I mean, granted...no one's done that in this thread. And if I remember correctly,. there is something in the DU rules about not linking to right-wing sites. I was involved in a dust-up over this a while back (well-documented in Help & Meta Data). Someone alerted on me and accused me of linking to F.R. in one of my posts. There was no link and yet the jury shitcanned the thread anyway.

RimJob's mini-begathon post is chock full of contradictions. Small government, big defense. No abortions, but you're right to the pursuit of happiness. blah, blah, blah. He got one thing right, though: If this sounds simplistic, well it is.

Who would have thought you could do that for only $5 a month?
A classic. Thanks for posting it.

(2,442 posts)It SURELY doesn't cost $96K to run that website.
Is that site registered as a non-profit?
Has there ever been any investigations into the income on that site?

(30,885 posts)I design Websites for a living. I've worked in the IT departments at Cisco and Pac Bell. I can guarantee that it doesn't cost $384K a year to run F.R.
He DOES list "salaries" as part of how the money's spent. That's probably where MOST of it goes, minus what are surely MINISCULE operating costs.

The representative from Idaho's First CD is a teabagger named Raul Labrador. His reelection campaign program focuses on the fact he hasn't done a damn thing--and he's playing that as a POSITIVE!!!

Does that mean you or anybody else is at the recruiters office or on his or her way to the front lines? Easy to be strong defense without actually well serving outside the 101st chairborne brigade.
Accepting nothing less, does that mean that you are willing to lead an armed insurrection?
I do not expect to get any answers to this, but every time I see that posted, or have that said to me by a conservative it is always fun to ask.

(20,136 posts)No Bill of Rights.
No separation of church and state.
No women or AAs voting.
No "equal protection under the law".
No direct voting for senators (yes, some of the nuttier right-wingers want to get rid of that).
No non-proprtional income tax.
etc.
Although, the 14th Amendment did bring about "corporate personhood", so maybe they'd like that.
