People who are just finding out they owe a federal tax penalty for not having health insurance now have a second chance to get a policy.

Those who didn’t know about or understand the requirement to have health insurance by March 1 can enroll for 2015 coverage during a “special enrollment period for tax season” between March 15 and April 30, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services said Friday.

The center, which administers the Affordable Care Act, said the period is for individuals and families who did not have coverage in 2014 and have not signed up for coverage for 2015.

Also Friday, the administration said about 800,000 HealthCare.gov customers got the wrong tax information from the government and should delay filing their 2014 returns.

it's the one that I'd be forced to buy their insurance from the same insurance bastards that left me to die.

Once I quit there, I'm eligible for subsidies on the exchange, where I can choose the alternate insurance company for about the same cost as the penalty.
