Axelrod: 'I don't know why there is confusion' on Obama's beliefs

David Axelrod, a former senior advisor to President Obama, said Sunday that he does not know why there are doubts about what President Obama believes.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) has sparked days of controversy by saying that Obama does not love America. Appearing on CBS's "Face the Nation," Axelrod was not asked specifically about Giuliani, but about "why there is so much confusion now about what this president believes."

"You know it is interesting, I always believe that the last president kind of sets the terms of the next election and the last president was a very Manichean kind of guy, black and white, saw the world in those terms," Axelrod replied. "America wanted someone who saw the gray, who saw the nuances, who understood the complexities of the world and who made decisions, and think about the long-term, and not just the next step and that is what they got in Barack Obama."

"So I don’t know, you know I don’t know why there is confusion," he added. "I think that there is nuance and there is an ability to see gray, which is really important in the world in which we live, that is true on foreign policy and national security it is also true on domestic policy. He thinks several steps ahead."

Obama's "foreign" way of clearly seeing all the shades of grey does not fit into usual industry of sound bite manufacturing, followed by the standard set up of two armed camps lobbing feces at each other that Republicans pine for again.

being waged against the American people by the GOP with the active assistance of the corporate media?

How about the Faux News presence, and the Clear(ly Unbalanced)Channel Communication radio network spreading disinformation by Rush Limbaugh and the rest of the Radio KKKlowns?

How about the many cowardly Democratic politicians who spent 6 years running away from the President and pandering to racist so-called Democrats in swing states?

How about the racist insults spoken about the President nearly weekly. Everything from "the food stamp President" to "he does not love America" to "he does not understand America" and on and on.

How about the media acting like questions about the President's birth place are serious issues?

How about the media treating idiots like Sarah Palin, Joni Ernst, Mitt Romney, and Dick Cheney as if they were honest people with something to say?
