Face The Nation (CBS) Seemed To Pile On President Obama Today.....

I heard the replay on the radio late this evening and it seemed to be very anti-Obama. McCain, Governor of Texas and some guy that is pushing the Executive Action on immigration all the way to SCOTUS. I didn't hear the whole program - but the part I heard was not fair and balanced.

We never watch TV. It's propaganda and sales pitches paid for by huge corporations that don't have our best interests at heart.

That said. Tonight we managed to watch the Oscars by hooking up an antenna on our TV and removing the remains of our cable connection. It worked. We had a better picture than we had when, several years ago, we had cable.

Who needs cable TV? I really don't. And the more people who say no to cable the sooner we will have television that is informative and not just right-wing, corporate propaganda.

and not require cable.

That being said, your comment absolutely applies for 90% of the garbage that portrayed as news or news discussion in this country.

I have not watched local and pay TV news or commentary for years. I get most of my news from the published media. Television news for the most part is as you described.

and the local news radio affiliate here re-airs it overnight as well (1 am - 2 am & 3am - 4am). It's the same retreads week after week. McLame and Grahamcracker.

Will be interesting to see if O'Liely turns up the heat on Shitffer though. The whole lot of them need to go.

MSNBC, by the way, is piling on as much as any other media outlet. The meme is "Obama is divulging his plans to attack ISIL in advance, what is he thinking, poor leadership, yada, yada, yada." Think for a moment. WHY would the administration "leak" their attack plans? Perhaps they WANT the enemy to know them. Isn't it possible the bad guys will flock to the site of the battle in response to the "leak" and we'll be able to take out more of them? The second guessing of this President never ends.
