Why are we hating the decisions of the party who won

the last election? Did we think they would want to suddenly see it Our Way?

We need a better process, better way to bring our voters to the polls.

Until then, dumb and dumber will control the outcome, and we just have to live (or die) with it.

She is not a transgendered Bush. This is not only wrong, but an insult to the transgendered.

I will agree that better messaging, etc. needs to be done. No question. But how about some god damned PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY too ! Enough excuses. I for one am sick and tired of us having to use crowbars to pry people off the god damned sofa to go vote. They have time to wait in line for days to buy tv sets before Black Friday but no time to vote? Give me an f-ing break !

Sadly, if it's not a presidential beauty contest election, most people can't be bothered.

Maybe if elections were in the format of American Idol or The Bachelor, more people would tune in.

Picture this: the candidates stand in front of JLo, Harry and Keith, and sing their platform. Or one young American is picked to represent us and the politicians try to seduce him for his vote.

Hey, who knows? Boehner versus Biden, singing and tap dancing across the stage?

My money's on Joe!

but we like simple truths with simple answers more than we like walking upstream and running into the mouths of all those low-flow tributaries.

It is simply great to say it all hangs on bringing voters to the polls, because it's true in a simply simple way. But that says not too much in particular.

Yes, lets get election results where we get majority election results.

But how? Which factors leading to voting deficits get to be addressed by "better process that translates into more of our voters at the polls"?

A bigger bus to the polls? More smaller cars to the polls? More available polling places? More voting booths in polling places? More days over which to vote? More reasons to get in the buses or cars? More faith that it matters because the nominees that get elected remain true to promises and don't go wobbly faced with oligarchic buyouts?

How about some candidates that actually work for US instead of the fucking corporations once we get their lying asses into office?

Just a thought.
