Petraeus, Where is the Outrage from our side?

Other than some that has been rightfully expressed at DU?

Those right wing assholes (republicans, tea party, etc) express outrage over bullshit all the time and get plenty of traction. Where are the leaders on our side of the aisle going to get in front of the cameras and be outraged about this... a situation that calls for real fire?

Can you imagine the shitstorm from Faux and the GOP if Wesley Clark had done this and received a slap on the wrist?

the right wing noise machine would have been been screaming. There would be hearings and the right--from Limbaugh to Hannity to Joe Blow--would be calling for his head on a platter!

standard of law than those who are privileged. To become outraged over something we have absolutely no say in, is a waste of energy. I am, fwiw...very disappointed that he "gets off" for this dangerous and irresponsible behavior.
They know this.

As such, if caught in the act of fucking a goose he could explain that he was merely fluffing the duvet and the reichwingers would stroke their chins, nod sagely and say "Well, that certainly explains things, now, doesn't it?" Reduced down, IOKIYAAR.
