Whiny Radical Christians In US Don't Know What Real Persecution Is.

Tired of these whiny Christians. They do not know what persecution is. Maybe they should live in the Middle East where religious persecution is rampant. Christians are not truly persecuted in the US.

For them persecution is the rest of us not allowing them to make this a country a place where the Bible is our law and the rest of us have to bow down to theocracy. They must understand the populace will never let them have their way.

They want our tax money but they don't want any tax money that is received by non believers. The whole fight about domestic programs is about helping sinners who do not deserve help. They seem to take the same view of help from domestic programs as they do about tax dollars for abortion. It violates their conscience if THEIR tax money helps disapproved of populations.

That is why these radical Christians need to be put in their place. They do not run the country and never will. They need to understand that.

or maybe they pretend they don't understand.

chicken hawks don't know what war is - to them it is a romantic book they drool over

bigots don't know what it is like to take the crap they give out - it would be nice if we could condemn them to it

the rich have no concept of hunger or what poverty is or how they create it

Republicans have no idea what it is like in the real world.

Christians to the lions channel.

"Today we have the Westboro Baptist Church.. we told them it was the Lenord Nimoy funeral. Little did they know, it's actually fifteen hungry lions! Boy will they be surprised!"

And one Nation under God from the pledge?

After all both sentences are recent additions (both in the 50's)

That way, Radical Christians could start whining about 'real persecution'

A church whose members worldwide suffer (or have suffered within living memory) genuine persecution at the hands of Communist or Muslim authorities. Yet here they are, complaining they're under siege because their state allows same-sex couples to marry, and praying for Vladimir Putin to fly in and save them

Or atheists. Or Unitarians. Or anyone not in their church.

Just because the state recognizes a marriage does not mean a church has to perform it. Or recognize it.

It is likely that I could not get married in your church - Despite our heterosexuality, my wife and I are atheists. But the government recognized the marriage of atheists for hundreds of years. Were they persecuted by this?

Ask questions like that and the answer is likely to be a bumper sticker slogan, or if they're feeling especially argumentative, a string of bumper sticker slogans.

A populace that currently has members of our nation being held hostage by ISIS simply for their faith have the audacity to whine about "persecution" in this country because people choose to say Happy Holidays, and we refuse to teach the Bible in schools. Unbelievable.
