used those posts you don't like to encourage this approach.

Then all those posts would have done exactly what we hoped when we posted them.

This is why some of us come here. Action.

She handled it well. One of the best exchanges I've seen from her.

Some posters suggested she has a Lieberman lite approach to foreign policy... She might not please DU all the time but her and husband have always been in the mainstream of Democratic thought when it came to international relations.

Perhaps being mindful of the reaction is exactly what will keep the Lieberman wing of her campaign subdued. It would only help her and her campaign.

Today was a solid example of that, imo.

This type of issue will IMPROVE her standing with progressive Democrats.

I've been one of her tough critics, and, yet, I WANT her to do well when it comes to representing OUR PARTY.

I'll say so when she does.

She gave them 4 factual points upfront. They then asked those questions again, as though they had not heard her (and they hadn't), and then they spun like ballerinas with the rest of the GOP talking points.

The comments she volunteered on the Iran Letter should have occupied the remaining time, but noooo.

I get it...Using the gov't address is better but unless you are going to prevent every civil servant from having a private e-mail address he or she can use his or her private e-mail address any time he or she wants to keep something off the record.

She removed all the details of Chelsea's wedding and her mother's funeral. You wanna see Chelsea's sonogram? I'm sure it's there. Public people are allowed a private life.

Unless you are going to dictate civil servants aren't allowed to have private e-mail addresses there is no way to ensure all their correspondence is on their government addresses.
