I believe that she is a strong-willed, conscientious woman who knows her own mind, and that she cannot be compelled, cajoled or otherwise forced into doing something against her will.
I acknowledge that she has previously said she does not plan to run for President.
I further acknowledge that time I may spend encouraging Elizabeth Warren to run could be spent encouraging other candidates to run.
I THEREFORE PLEDGE that IF Elizabeth Warren chooses not to run for President, I will accept her choice.
I FURTHER PLEDGE that IF Elizabeth Warren chooses not to run for President, I will not claim, assert, imply or otherwise suggest that any person or persons, known or unknown, (including but not limited to Hillary Clinton, the DNC, Third Way, "The Powers the Be", "Them", "the 1%", Neo-cons, Neo-Liberals, or their subsidiaries, dependents or chattels), have in any way compelled, cajoled or otherwise forced Elizabeth Warren to forego a Presidential campaign again her will, and that, consequently, I will not claim, assert, imply or otherwise suggest that I have been "deprived of a choice" in the Democratic Primary.

(14,733 posts)As a 'strong-willed, conscientious person' who 'knows my own mind', I don't feel the need to sign pledges other people have written.
But you can be assured that I won't be encouraging her to run for any race after the filing deadline for said race has passed. Either she'll have filed at that point, or she won't, and it will have been her decision, no matter what 'cajoling' or 'encouragement' she has received along the way.

(94,610 posts)First, nobody supporting Hillary Clinton has ever said they wouldn't enthusiastically support Elizabeth Warren if Clinton lost. Second, Clinton has shown clear signs of preparing to start a campaign, while Warren has not.
