An evil worth remembering...

A friend of mine posted this quote on FB this morning:

We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. It was a reminder to me that our job is not to perpetually react to these shock doctrines but to replace them with a clear vision of reality and to act with our own plan for a better nation and world.

Yes, we do need to keep our eyes on the prize and we do need to recognize that these self-absorbed cartoon villians derive power from the fear left in their wake. They sow discord and chaos. We need to be proactive and fearless.
