Judge OKs atheist's 'reason station' in city hall

If a church can have a prayer station inside city hall, then an atheist can have a reason station there, too.

"The reason station will be allowed to operate on terms not less favorable than the terms granted to the prayer station," wrote Hluchaniuk, who also ordered the city of Warren to pay the ACLU $100,000 for costs and attorney fees.

I listened to a radio program about this-it is called "Janet Parshall in the market"-- this is, by the way, the best Christian show on the radio dial--I listen to the "other side" often-I drive a lot----
by best--I mean-they at least try a little to represent other parties-if just a little.

They had Barry Lynn from the other side--

Here is what I got from the show--

A christian caller called in and was trying to suggest a way that the city could get "around" this new law--it included the idea that they could impose limitations where those that wanted to have the "stations" open would have to keep them clean or updated regarding the information provided.

This is key--they wanted to skirt the regulations in such a way that they thought christians would keep the area clean and updated, where those wanting the Reason Station might not.

To clarify--they wanted a way around the requirement that would exclude atheists--the idea was that christians would tend toward keeping the station "updated", whereas, the atheists would not.

That is to say--they wanted a way to shut down the atheist station that would work outside of people's rights.

So--they would be A-OK with a loophole that kept their stupid prayer station in business to the exclusion of the other.

Not a person batted an eyelash-this would be peachy-keen with them

In this paradigm- it would be simple to exclude others--just impose a regulation that they would be unlikely to follow!

SomeHow--this is moral!

These people sure suck at being people;

Seeing nothing but rwnjs, religionistas, and people waiting to stand their ground all day every day, hanging a Reason Station sign should be as irresistable as a cheese ball to a catfish.

As for the op, hopefully some will see the judge stop in.
