Is it that the traitor commits treason? Serious question. I don't want them to get away with this but they probably will.

1) The U.S. Constitution protects members of Congress from anything they say or write. ( Art. I, section 6). 2) Speaker Pelosi did the very same thing in 2007 when she went to Syria ot meet with Assad over White House protests. 3) Th U.S. Constitution gives joint responsibility to the Executive branch and Congress for U.S.foreign policy. 4) Posters on this very board want Congress to reject Obama's attempt to negotiate a treaty on trade. Yet that is not being a traitor. Hypocrisy.
