There are a lot of folks here that are very interested in this. There have been multiple posts about it, in fact.

I'm sure the sign-up will be robust.

I'm kind of "old school" DU and remember when we could get our hands slapped by the mods for posting about something that someone else had already posted about . . . so I try to be careful.

It is a very interesting project and I'm working on a transcription of a description of the battle at Lexington/Concord now. It's a bit of an eye-brow raiser, actually (British soldiers driving pregnant, laboring women into the street - naked - and burning their homes down? I don't recall that particular story . . .).

It's fun!

I transcribed depositions, about what happened on that bridge, in Concord, in 1775.

laboring, naked women in the road?
I really think we need some independent verification of that claim!

It is fun - they have a nice, simple set-up.

Guess what my cook said
about you? Says she, "Miss
Claudie, you sho' have got
you a fine looking young
man."!! ( I don't know how
she got the idea I'd "got"
you! - But I was tickled).
Darling, I don't think I
shall write you on this any
more...there isn't room....
How I do miss you. All the time
there is something I want to
say to you - to talk to you about.
I wish I had a tabulator so
I could check how many minutes

Is this cool, or what?
