Who were the Marines killed in the Black Hawk crash?

11 service members died when a U.S. Army UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter crashed near Eglin, Florida, at approximately 8:30 p.m. March 10, 2015. Seven of those on the helicopter were Marines based at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. They have been identified. Four others served with the Louisiana Army National Guard and their names have not been released. Learn more about the Marines killed in the crash.

But it's well known locally who the victims are. Theory right now is that they flew straight into the water in thick fog and never knew what happened. What they do is dangerous, even in training, and sometimes people die, unfortunately. There will be a lot of second guessing as to whether the the op should have been cancelled due to weather.

Used to do some work right where that Blackhawk went down, very sad thing. May they all RIP.
