For friends of The Mudflats,

please keep co-editor Linda Kellen Biegel, a/k/a Celtic Diva, in your thoughts and prayers today. She suffered a brain aneurysm last night and will be undergoing neurosurgery today. She is an amazing woman, a force to be reckoned with and a dear friend of mine.

Mudflats is a terrific resource. I was privileged to meet Jeanne Devon & Shannyn Moore a few years ago when they were in Pittsburgh to accept an award at Netroots Nation . Still have my figure of Brian the Moose they gave me in a place of honor.

Linda is out of surgery and seems to be okay. She'll be hospitalized for several days, so keep the good thoughts coming. We really need her here - I've often said that if I were a corrupt politician, she would be the LAST person I'd want on my trail. She is relentless. We call her a warrior princess.
