Toronto’s The Globe and Mail became the first newsroom in Canada to launch SecureDrop, our whistleblower submission system, last week. We’re also excited to share that Gawker Media launched SecureDrop across all of their sites. Gawker additionally published a page with a list of all their employees who have PGP and OTR encryption—something that all media outlets should do.

I don't expect The Globe and Mail will do anything with whistleblower information that might upset the corporate war profiteering status quo. Might as well blow a whistle down the sink of a black hole.
