After over three years of having him haunting and taunting feminists/black persons on this website, we have lived to see his demise here on the DU.
There's a few threads on it, but I feel compelled to let you all know how many persons on this website he harassed with his misogynistic/racist bullshit. It was a hella lot! And wanted to make a thread in support of those of us who were victimized by him over and over again for three YEARS! Having our posts pointing out his racist and misogynistic bullshit hidden.... thus being punished for confronting the stealth troll. It's not a complaint, but a feature of this system and one we should all be aware of.... So, I AM NOT complaining about the JURY system, just would like to point out how things sometimes work.. we are all responsible for our own posting..
So, to the people who are now obviously relieved by not having to listen and read and be harassed by his constant, never ending racist/sexist/misogynistic dribble, I celebrate with you! It was about god damned time! This thread is for you!

There was a way to have a buddy list on here.. like other websites do. I think its great to have internet friends. Life isn't so lonely that way. I also think maybe DU has many of the older generation here and not many of the younger people. I think I remember reading about an 18 year old who was posting here for a while.. But I often wonder just how many of the younger people post here? I suspect too there are not many Asian posters.. which as I said in another post, that makes me sad..

but let me assure you, you are very much appreciated by the oldsters here. Young folks are invigorating to us, and you provide a much needed perspective that is often quite different from ours.
I learn so much, but I wish there were more Asians on IMVU, I don't know of many here, and its not like we are all hanging out together.. Sometimes it feels like we are a forgotten category, especially on polls where its broken down into races.. I'm like..where are the Asians?

Lately I been posting videos from the NHK series Begin japanology and some of them are so fascinating that even I learned some new things about Japan that I never knew. But then again, my family has been far removed from the Japanese culture.. in many respects. Anyway, I wish more people would come and I wish I had a way to promote it so people would come. I have been invited to join the AA group, but since AsahinaKimi has been busy, I been running the Asian group all by myself. And also it seems unfair to just post Japanese stuff, when there is so many wonderful cultural things from other Asian countries.. But I guess DU doesn't have that many Asians on here, which makes me sad.

I tend to not like bigotry, OR excuses for bigotry, especially when the bigotry is aimed at me, and people like me.
How the heck do you draw a distinction between "it wouldn't matter" and "it's ok". Those look pretty damned equivalent to me. Because it WOULD matter for the simple fact that hatred and bigotry are NOT okay. At least in my book.
And as far as "anyone who reads DU". Well people read DU differently. That should be pretty obvious. The guy made 11,000 posts. I doubt very much if I read even a third of them. There are about 10,000 posts on DU every day (or more). To read 1,000 of them and make some posts of your own (at least if the post was longer than or :eyes would take a fair amount of time.
I, myself, tend to jump in on threads on misogyny when they say things like "I hate men" or "men suck". I tend to not find bigotry directed at me to be all that acceptable, even if some people just love their double standards. When we have threads on racism, they tend not to talk about the troubles of black people, but they spend more time talking about white people. I find the notion of "privilege" to be both BS and offensive.
Maybe the people who are making white males get defensive should also listen to the complaints of those people they have offended instead of getting even more offensive themselves?
Your buddy was able to gain a little wiggle room with that philosophy, but I don't see either of you winning any friends or understanding around here.

Yes, such a HORRIBLE post to someone who is clearly posting to me about absolutely nothing and for absolutely no reason whatsoever other than to annoy and goad. I mean, that post is some seriously mild salsa compared to what I can and have done around here.

Even those that are just lurking, we are missing out on a diversity of voices from people that should be speaking while we are bombarded by folks who don't speak for the Dem party and never will.
And like I noted in the AA forum thread celebrating AJ90's demise, that I was so happy that it finally happened that I'm even willing to overlook the fact that despite the fact that black posters and women had been alerting about AJ90 FOREVER, it very likely was the very detailed alert from A-Schwarzeneger (a white guy) that was the final straw. Now if that don't tell you everything you need to know about this place and how it's being run, nothing will.
As for that hidden post, I cracked up laughing when I got the note that it was hidden. NOTHING surprises me about DU anymore so the fact that something that tame hidden and the fact that not one single Hide vote left a comment had me giggling. That hide did absolutely nothing but brazenly highlight that somebody realized that they were outclassed and that their "feebles" (to use your truly excellent phrase) were hurt. And it was very likely only going to get worse.
He was a boil on DU's ass and deserves every single two-step currently being performed on his grave.
