big time. We have never won at that ground.
Our only chance is to win the toss and bowl - hope we get them out cheap because our batting is tres suspect and our fielding has been ordinary.
Gayle has back problems and he needs to fire big time for us to have the slightest chance.

New Zealand is looking better than I've ever seen them - and are yet to lose a match.

and while I really don't have much of a 'dog in that hunt' I still love the game.

ages ago, I had the distinct pleasure to be staying in Melbourne at the Hilton across from the MCG (it has since changed names). They were having a five day test and I was going over each afternoon after work closed. The first couple of days I was a bit lost, and then my friend, Janine, came with to day three and we drank beer and discussed the ins and outs of the game and I have been hooked ever since (on the game AND Janine ).

good luck to your boys...

watching Jamaica v Barbados in a four day game. Our captain is retiring after this match and since he's been the captain with the best results ever, I decided I should show him my respect. He led the team to victory for five consecutive years.

I love cricket. Enjoy tonight you lucky stress free fan Truthfully I expect us to lose so I'm under less pressure. Hubby will be screaming at the players through the TV. He can't acknowledge that we suck.

but streaming is sufficient. I would love to be able to go to a WC Match in person... maybe someday!

oh, and I can totally identify with hubby screaming at the TV... my wife just smiles and shakes her head slowly...
