(51,308 posts)He's either very unhealthy or mentally exhausted. Maybe both.
I've got no sympathy for the idiot.

Either or both are certainly possible. Another possibility is that he's faking and looking for sympathy.
I'm inclined to go with your thought.

(26,366 posts)To back up the claim, Deputy Dist. Atty. Cynthia J. Barnes documented the Death Row Records co-founders extensive brushes with the law in 295 pages of written arguments and supporting evidence, including an affidavit and more than two dozen police reports that implicate Knight in robberies, extortion, money laundering, assaults, witness intimidation and battery.

(53,032 posts)I saw a pretty convincing documentary alleging he was behind it.

(12,778 posts)but I remember my students talking about it back in my teaching days. Supposedly some sort of East Coast - West Coast feud wasn't it?

(53,032 posts)It was Tupac, and the argument was Tupac was about to leave his record label.

(34,648 posts)I bkame none other than Suge Knight for all of that drama. He didn't care who he got killed so long as he made that money. I will always blame for both deaths. I think he got Tupac killed and then people killed Biggie thinking HE was behind it all. He and Pac used to be friends. Suge started all that. I blame him vigorously.

(12,017 posts)heck, the incident where he backed up may have been legit defense... maybe the guy was threatening or hitting him through and open window or something. but, putting the truck in 'D' and running one guy over and running another guy down (who was backing away) is gonna put a dent in the whole self-defense schtick.
