Corporate media should end their deceitful pretenses

around the question of whether or not some word or group of words is hate speech. They know what hate speech is and so does everyone I know. We`re all practically experts on the issue, since almost every word coming from our "friends across the aisle", the Just-Say-No Republicans, is hateful. We hear it in their speeches. We hear it in their political ads. We hear it on videos of their fundraisers. They`re so proud of their hate speech that they beam....grin from ear to hollow ear.... when their ignorant followers applaud the use of it.

Obama isn`t American. Democrats don`t go to church. Obama doesn`t love his country.Welfare recipients are lazy. Anti-war protestors aren`t patriots. Blacks are thugs. Mexicans want a free lunch. God hates Gays. Republican men in Congress need to oversee birth control issues because otherwise women will give in to their innate promiscuous tendencies. Muslims are terrorists. PTSD probably isn`t any more real than that "Global Warming" sham. Minimum wage workers are almost all teenagers. Remember the purple bandaids? The "Let him die"? Calling the president a Halfrican? Oh, yes.....there was Limbaugh`s "Barack the Magic Negro." Listen to the hate speech around unwed teenage mothers, Gay adoptions, prisoners, union members, "tree huggers", on and freaking on.

The Republican Hate Narrative is what we hear, just about 24/7. It`s worse than hateful, it`s vile, despicable, nauseating. And most of it and the asinine conclusions it breeds, isn`t fit for human consumption and has no basis in reality. Think gun rights vs. Sandy Hook, Abu Ghraib vs. anti-torture, Swiss bank accounts vs. cutbacks in food stamps. Republicans live, breathe and practice hate speech.

It`s high time we Democrats did away with the timidity and started speaking out loud and clear....with courage and conviction.

Meanwhile there is an entire State threatened by costal flooding on a massive scale that denies the science behind the truth...and barely a peep.
