If people like Warren, Sanders, and O'Malley are better candidates than Clinton, they will win the primaries.

It's simple.

Easy peasy.

The person with the most delegates will be the best candidate.

I trust the Democratic primary voters.

6. I was going to use Russ Feingold as an example, but both that election and the one you mentioned

are general elections, not primaries.

However, as I mentioned in another post, very often the best candidate isn't even allowed to compete. And most certainly doesn't often win.

7. Not allowed to compete?

If Feingold, Kucinich, Warren or Sanders said they want to run for Prez, I'm sure they would be allowed to participate in the debates and the primaries.

8. Debate rules are set by TPTB.

When Nader was running they changed the polling percentage to be higher to keep him out of the debates. So yes, he was not allowed to compete. They didn't want his message heard. They don't want any of the names you mentioned to be heard either.

Why do you think Kucinich got asked about UFOs in the debates? Did they think that was a normal debate question? did they ask it of others? No, they were trying to discredit him.

Why do you think such a big deal was made of Dean's yell? They were trying to, and did, discredit him.

Surely you don't think political races are fair and just.

12. Reagan was a Republican who never ran in a Democratic Primary. He won a Republican Primary.

I suppose it is to be expected that some Warren boosters might be a tad confused over which Party is which. Reagan was a Republican.

3. The best candidate doesn't usually win imo.

The candidate TPTB want is the most likely to win. That's why they have money in elections, so they can get their candidate front and center. The best candidates are often not even allowed in the debates.

4. pretty sad how many people would like to just skip the primary and force people to vote

for who they want them to vote for. Voting is the most fundamental form of freedom we have. You cannot force anyone to vote for anybody. In fact, you can't force them vote at all although some here would like to be able to do that.

5. Yeah, and then decide that those who won't vote for a particular person are not Democrats.

I say you are not a Democrat if you don't respect the election process. That process includes a primary. If one chooses to skip the primary and simply hand the candidacy over to a corporate centrist then I say that person is the one who is not a Democrat. They certainly don't believe in democracy.

They should go to the prospective candidate that so many don't want and tell that prospective candidate that they are not a Democrat and that a whole lot of real Democrats don't want to vote for her because of that very reason.
