Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) declared that he will be running for president Sunday night on Twitter, so its only appropriate that the people of Twitter are now coming out in droves to help the first major candidate in the race write a slogan. Kind of.
Cruz noted in the video uploaded with his tweet, I believe in America and her people, and I believe we can stand up and restore our promise. Lets just say, if the Twitter trending topic #TedCruzCampaignSlogans is an accurate metric, people are having a much more challenging time returning that same belief to the
champion of local control.
Even TV personality Montel Williams couldnt resist using the trending topic for a history lesson: Because the last time we elected 1st term Senator the result was just swell.
